Wishing to have a wonderful life is one thing, and taking
action is another! As Buddha pointed out, if we want qualities like a long fulfilling
life (YES PLEASE), beauty or happiness,
there’s no point simply wishing for those things. Wishing positive things is
fine (In fact important), but we must also engage with the path of practice
(aka take action) that leads to them. Taking action leads us in the direction that we
want to go and after a period of time of being persistent and consistent, we suddenly
find ourself in the place that we once wished we would be BOOM! There is your magic
right there. The lesson here? Decide what is it you want, do what it takes to get there
(for the good of all or not at all) and when you’re there have intense gratitude for
becoming (as Gabrielle Bernstein says) the dreamer of your
dream and making the life you want happen.
